The classical garden roses came from Europe because of the great interest that Europeans gave in cultivating the roses. The main type of classical roses is the white rose also named Alba. It is the main type because of the rose’s petals that are so bright and open, and it attracts viewers.
The modern type of garden roses came as an experiment that has his head at the classical garden roses, of course. Because everyone wanted to have in their garden looking just like the ones from magazines, this experiment has been made with success. The main type from this category of roses is Polyantha.
If you decided to plant roses you will need to find the perfect place to put them. You’ll need a airy site, that is opened to sun, try not to put them close to some trees because there the sun can’t reach them. If you are wondering on what side of the house you should put them, morning sun is great for roses. Too much light could harm dark colored, or multi colored garden roses. So a southern exposure is just wonderful for the roses. Before planting the roses start preparing the site. It is best that the site was never used for planting roses, but if you did and haven’t had success substitute the old grown with a new one. The best soil to use is deep loam. It is recommended that before planting the roses you prepare the bed roses. Garden roses like and use a lot of water, but don’t let water stand in the soil. Water the rose’s one at two or three days and they should be fine.
The best time to plant is in fall but only if the plants have protection during the winter. If you don’t have this kind of protection, then you can plant them in earlier spring. If you are planting them in spring you should purchase them in winter and keep them in pot-grounds meanwhile.
